can i run a tfs stage one on gt-40p heads on a 88 short block? dont know the specs on it yet. but i am searching

Yep. The '86 engines are the ones you have to be concerned with,because they had no valve reliefs in the pistons.

yes you can.
It is a nice pulling cam with the GT40 iron heads. Brian and I rebuilt a member's car a few years ago. He put my OEM heads (from the 93) and that cam on it and put down around 250rwhp |
We will spray it. No doubt!lol got to keep it in the 7s. Where it was with the last budget motor.lol
