Geek stuff from Moates.net

Just an FYI to all you gearhead geek types, Craig has the Ford chips etc. back up on his website. I will try to post pictures of the few little things that I ordered which arrived yesterday. Will try to get them up sometime later tonight............... :jester:

The PCMX software can also be used for editing binary files to be used with this hardware....note this is not for the faint of heart.....

Here you go Richard this may help. This info is all available on Craigs website.

Q&A >
What chip addressing do I use when programming a F1/F2 for a EEC-IV ?
When programming for EEC-IV, you want to put a 56k binary from 032000-03FFFF.

What chip addressing do I use when programming a F1/F2 for a EEC-V ?
When programming for EEC-V, use the following addressing:

BANK0: 002000-00FFFF
BANK1: 012000-01FFFF
BANK8: 022000-02FFFF
BANK9: 032000-03FFFF
(note I had some issues with bank9 on an '03 Mach 1 car I need to go back and verify from my notes- Dale McPeters)

When pulling a bin from a EEC-V, use the following addressing:

BANK0: 002000-00FFFF
BANK1: 012000-01FFFF
BANK8: 022000-02FFFF
BANK9: 032000-03FFFF
(note I had some issues with bank9 on an '03 Mach 1 car I need to go back and verify from my notes- Dale McPeters)

Here is the link in case anyone wants to take a look.

Ahh, yes, it's all coming back to me now. By that, I mean the possibility of throwing up after reading that...
