Supercharged guys: I REALLY like water/alc injection

I put the Snow Perf kit on the car recently and I have to say it is the best thing added to the car in a long time. Running 93 octane I could only run 13 degrees timing max under boost, with the water/methanol mix the octane jumps to 120 and I am now running 22 degrees timing with no ping. Just like running race gas but significantly cheaper. I buy a few bottles of HEET at Pep Boys for about $1.00 each, mix it with water 50/50 and I'm done.
I have it set to activate at 2.9 volts maf, the a/f goes dramatically richer at that point, iat temps go down to less than 130 degrees. You have to lean out the a/f in the "stab OL tables" to run it, a/f goes almost 2 pt's richer when it is on.
I would recommend this kit if you are running a blower to reach the max potential of you combo.

How much does it cost for the kit and how long does it last?

I bought a bigger bottle to hold the water, it's an overflow tank for radiators and cost about $10.00. I can't see running out of water all that fast unless you are constantly on boost. Just check the level for awhile to get a feel for how much you use.

About Lightnings and cobras, a friend of mine is owner/partner of RazorsEdge in Fla and they do a lot of those cars using Snows kit. One problem he said they have is they do not have enough spark energy to fire the WI using the bigger jet that comes with the kit and therefore are not able to get the best reductions in iat temps that using the bigger jet would do. They still get pretty good increases using the smaller jet but they are looking into some kind of spark amplifier to make it work really well.
Right now the options for a COP car are 2 MSD DIS4's, the plasma booster, and the KB boost a spark.
On my car using the small jet did not really reduce the iat's all that much, going bigger made a big difference, but then again I have the DIS HO box.

Just saw this and figured I would throw it out here, somebody on bham racing is trying to put together a group buy with snow performance. You will have to sign up to see the thread I believe.
