I honestly think you would break the dyno with your truck

its a dynocom dyno and the whole issue is they just dont know how to work the dyno yet. we ran a buddies supra first run of the day and was running it all the way to 8800 rpm and the dyno was shutting down at 73 for some odd reason. idk what the deal is, but hell they put a v6 stang on there and said it put down 260 and 320 lol! they knew it wasnt right but they just dont know enough to fix it. im assuming that chris and andrew are just too prideful to call up someone else and ask for a lil help they would rather look like fools than provide service, on a lighter note i did win a free dyno for my ss when i get it back but i will be doing some reasearch and will know why the dyno is acting wierd

They use a portable dyno.. he dynoed at c.a.m. they were trying to take money and pushing people through. They weren't hooking up anything to read rpms, so the numbers were not accurate.. a friends ls1 car with just some bolt ons dynoed damn near the same.

tayzoid1 07-21-2011 02:22 PM

lol adams car put down even more than that. and from what i understand they had a dyno day at vengence and never hooked anything up to the cars either just put them on and run to get a number and it was accurate. talk to cam, matt, travis, kerry, all of them. im going to see if he will let me and jeff play with it because jeff thinks he can fix it. and has been researching alot about it. andrew kept saying that he put both of their diesel trucks on it and they both put down the same numbers they put down on 2 other dyno's. but i can tell ya something wasnt right and evvveerryy one knew it. except riley, he still thinks his bolt on cam only 302 with a stock intake is making 571tq and 320 hp lol! "but i have the dyno sheet to prove itt!!"

Lmfao.. the hp numbers are close.. the torque is way wrong.. something is calibrated correctly or incorrect software is being used for that dyno. Either way, it needs to be fixed before they need to do another dyno day.

They need to get their stuff right before charging people to get their cars dynoed, otherwise they won't stay in business very long.

I don't know what cam he's running, but he has an Explorer intake on it and E7 heads from what I saw at the Gadsden cruise in. With just that and the usual bolt ons, I highly doubt it's putting 320 hp to the wheels N/A. 220 sounds more like it, and that's a high estimate.
