Door Handle

Looking for a good quality exterior door handles for my fox. Anyone out there know of any? Looking at the one from blue oval industries. I know I want the metal ones but all the pics look like cheap plastic ones.

Hmmm, funny you should bring this up. I bought some brand new metal ones on Ebay last year and my driver's side handle just broke this weekend. I'll try to see if I can figure out who I bought them from and post it up.

I'm pretty sure it was these that got.

My feedback to them was back in January so it lasted right at a year. If you don't mind changing them out, every year, I guess it's not a bad deal.

Not sure if these from Blue Oval Industries would be any different.

Can't go wrong there. You pay more, but they've lasted at least four years on Dad's 89GT without any signs of wear.

Either will work, but rivets give you added security.

:werd: I have seen good luck with the auto-parts store metal handles. They're like $19.95 or close. I've needed these since I've owned my car. It has two plastic ones :nono: .

I am needing some myself for both sides. I think I might go through Late Model since you've had luck with them.

If you use rivets get someone to help you put them in. Very easy to slip and scratch your paint.
