FordRacing aluminum driveshaft

Recently purchased and aluminum driveshaft from Ford Racing. Anyone have an idea of how many Ft./Lbs. to torque the bolts to? Should the bolts be replaced? Any other helpful hints would be appreciated!!

I have never torqued a driveshaft, I just get them very tight.

:agree: I've always used a long 12mm box wrench and just cranked on them.

use blue lock-tite, drive shaft bolts should be torque to 70-95 ft lbs. per my 1988 service manual.

Make sure you use a 12 point 12mm socket.

I've always just got a boxed in wrench and put another wrench on the end to really crank down. Never any problems on any mustangs.
