New PB getting Closer .
Well tonight I headed out from Miami to PBIR . This time no trailer so I drove the 110 mile trip one way to see if I can get my 9 SEC time slip.
This is the 3rd trip to the track for all out pass. Track was cold but nice for making good power. I could not get a decent 60ft all night , and I think its a bit obvious to me that I may need to go the other way and tighten the converter back up and change the back housing on the Turbo instead . I can feel the converter slip to the 1/8th and then the converter locks up in the back half . Anyway best pass on 21.4 psi's : 60ft.............. 1.662 330............... 4.484 1/8th ............. 6.852 MPH ............... 103.02 1/4 ................ 10.654 MPH ............... 129.40 I was also having issue's hitting the rev limit so I had to change the shift points on the tranny tune for the problem to go away , but I kept blowing out the spark or hitting the rev limit . Best pass of the night on 22.8 psi's , I hit the nitrous in 3rd gear only . Wasn't sure what would happen if I was on the spray in 1st gear and then the spark blow out again so I only hit it in 3rd and its a 75 shot. 60fr ................... 1.47 330 .....................4.142 1/8th .................. 6.450 MPH ................... 105.81 1/4 .................... 10.105 MPH .................... 135.77 I couldn't get one pass without spinning the wheels right out of the gate. I need a few more trips to the track and Ill figure this car out . http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2...s/DSC07373.jpg Pete |
Congrats on the new bests. Just a couple tweaks away from a 9 second pass

That's a nice 60 foot, especially if you were spinning!

Yeup the car usually 60s in the 1.43 to 1.45 easy , just couldn't get the car to leave. I should have dropped the 2 step lower so it wouldn't boost as high off the line. Pete |
