Victor 5.0 Intake help.
Ok trying to get my Victor 5.0 on my 91 and the TB linkage is hitting the Fuel pressure regulator and the heater metal lines. I had one on my 88 and I didn't have this problem. Has anybody ran into this before or heard of this before?
Thanks |
Is there a t/b spacer on the intake?
|
It has an Accufab 80mm tb and EGR spacer on it. The spacer is the same thickness as the factory EGR. I don't know why its not working?
|
IIRC when using the Victor intake you can't use the metal heater hose and you need an EGR delete plate which is thinner.

I wound up cutting my own spacer to a correct thickness. |
Well my cruise control cable was broke which was why the TB wasn't opening up all the way. So I just took the cable off and the linkage went right on. I had to bend the metal heater hoses also but it's on now. So now I'm trying to make me a Cold air to mate up to the 80mm TB! lol
I'm like y'all I think the Victor is shorter or something which throws everything off. I got it working for now but just don't have a cruise control. I can get over that! Thanks!! |
why dont u just trade me your victor for my rpm2 and anderson powerpipe it works great with my 80mm lol
