mine is vented to atmosphere with no drivability problems (blow thru MAF setup).

Only thing I hate is that it is loud as hell at idle and going down the road. Its very annoying

Do you know if this car you are talking about was a full race car or whether he drove it on the street much

BOV must be before the MAF to vent to atmosphere
