if think you are going to stay with the holset...

if think you are going to stay with the holset turbo. i would save my money and get with 40bob and have him build you a center mount for that turbo.

here are a few pics of my hx35 and hy35. i like the hy 35 because the outlet faced forward. and it spooled a lot fast. but it took a dump. what kind of manifold you going to use?

alot of people just cut the waste gate off and build mounts to put the stock t-3 waste gate on it.

the h1c does not have a waste gate where the hx35...

the h1c does not have a waste gate where the hx35 does. i think they are the same turbo besides that.

its been a while since i fooled with it. but i think the 35#s do max out at 300 hp.i had stinger do my program and used the 42#s out of the 83-84 tbi. i think they were green. but they worked great...

i would start with everything in this post. i had the ford 42 lb in mine but i wanted to go with 55lb. i think the stock short block will hold over 20lbs if the tune is right and a good inter cooler.

i would try to get some bigger injectors in that thing. turn the boost up to about 30 lbs and rock!:metal:
