No, both autos and manuals use a similar gear -- the automatics just have a longer shaft protruding from the gear. :yup:

. . . now that I think of it, Jeane corrected her speedo by using a 23T...

Why? They have speedometer gears just like the earlier model Mustangs. :shrug:

I believe you can do it either way, but I believe you'll be more accurate with the SpeedCal.

Somebody may want to confirm whether I'm correect or not.... or if there are other issues involved.

Wow, Ford is including a 23T speedo gear with their 3.73 gears now? :think:

That's strange since that's not even a Ford part. :hmm:
