Well, I don't care for the compressor side for a V8. It's too small. Kinda a catch 22. But it's great for a diesel in the 3-5 liter range.

I've seen a Holset (HX35 IIRC) do very well on a Buick GN, but it had the turbine housing adapted from a buick GN...so, kinda a hybrid turbo.

What you need is a T3/T4 hybrid. SVOBrown has the perfect setup IMO: a 50 trim compressor and a Stage 3 turbine wheel. In an SVO .63 A/R turbine housing. It's a bolt-on turbo and they run great.
