got the driveshaft in today, got the hole cut for the stock shifter (for now), got the cables hooked up to the trans. I then had to put the bushings in under the shock towers for the front struts since I forgot to put them in the first time. All was well on the pass side, went to the drivers side, had the wheel off and the car on ramps in the back and jackstand in the front (subframe)....you may see where this is going already
..... go to crank off the top nut on the strut with the impact gun....when BAM!!!! The nut shoots off, the washer goes flying and the strut/A-Arm assembly flop off to the side !!!! $HIT....There goes my brand new steel braided brake line...POP. Dumba$$ that I am I forgot to slide the jack up under the a-arm to keep pressure on the spring. So that was my stupid act for the day. Now I have to find another steel braided line for the front. BLAH. Oh well, at least I got the bushing back up in there....
