Whining noise from my rearend

lol...

Anyway, Its always something...lately I've been hearing a whining noise coming from the rear of my car when I'm going around curves - mainly only notice it when I'm circling to park or making a quick Uturn. I've noticed I usually only hear it after travelling on the interstate too. But the car is pretty loud and I don't know what noises I'm missing because the exhaust is overpowering them. The noise seems to be getting worse and occurring more often...thinking maybe I should stop ignoring it. Its just hard to take it to the shop when it may not even decide to make the noise! I hate that! I've been trying to read and think maybe differential or wheel bearing? But with differential - I haven't noticed problem driving straight, wouldn't it still whine when I'm starting from a stop?
