The 7.5 fox axles are the same as an 8.8 fox, They are both 28 spline and the same length. I have one that I pulled from the Capri, It suffered a spider gear failure. I have had several 7.5s and as long as you don't shock load them they will live for a while, If you aren't making lots of tq and are running an auto it will last for a long time. In all honesty I killed on an average of about 4-5 T5s to every 7.5 in my old 84GT but my 79RS never had a rear end issue other than an axle after I went to a C4.
