compression plays a big factor. The lower the compression the more timing yo can run. Also if you have any type of intercooler it will allow you to run more timing also. Do you run pump gas through your car or do you run 100+ octane?

Pump gas, intercooled, and 14 psi I ran around 18 degrees at WOT from 3k-4500 rpm and 17 degrees from 4500- 6k rpm in the cobra. That was with 9:1 compression
