Yeah, but without any VHT layed down on the street, I'm thinking 1000 ftlbs would still blow the tire off on a launch.

. . . but, I've never driven a car with much over 500 ftlbs, so I could be wrong.

this car isnt mini tubbed and it has 17" mickey thompson drag radials on it

It hooks with judicious throttle I'm sure. Like stated before...it's a relative term.

What transmission in the car?
