i was wrong the car does not have a a9l it has a ecu out of a 94 cobra meant to post that when me and lee were discussing it.

How did you check the TFI module? I know you said you checked it,but it sounds suspect to me.

i know there is some differences in the cobras but not sure exactly what other than fuel. this is the same setup i had with the stock motor only thing that has changed is the motor. i know looking back on the thread it seems that the ecu was changed when i did the motor but it wasn't.

I know for a FACT the wiring harnesses are completely different! I did a V-6 to V-8 swap on a '95 for a guy Geoffrey and I know from work. I acquired a '95 Cobra harness for it,put it in,and it ran like ass. We got another harness from a '95 GT,put it in,and it ran perfect. I read up on those when I did that about three years ago,and there are some differences,but I can't remember what all they are right now though.

k i found a ecu and its on the way should play with the car some tomorrow. did some checking on the relay and they seem to be 80 bucks so hoping its just the ecu.

k just went out to the car when u turn the car on i hear the fuel pump kick on for a minute to prime, the normal lights are on indash. but for some reason the cooling fan is kicking on???? i tried the fuel pump reset in the truck nothing. car spins over fine with no out of the normal sounds. if anyone has any input of questions feel free to call me 256-770-1063
