Will do, have to get some more batteries for my camera, sometimes it's like pulling teeth with him, just about all he cares about it his girlfriend, and playing guitar....My dad and I worked all the time on my first car ('69 Impala with 350) and I loved it too, one of the things I cherish most.

Got some more stuff done today...and the last couple days. Day before, a buddy of mine and myself went to the JY in Columbus,GA and got a set of GT40 heads and GT40 U/L intake to put on this motor....after we left that JY we went by another and picked up a set of 94/95 front spindles and brakes.

Yesterday I dropped off the heads at the machine shop to do a valvejob (still looked great despite 160K miles on them), put new springs, and get them surfaced and all cleaned up and check them out to make sure all is good.

Today I worked on my Mountaineer for a few mins, then tackled some stuff on the 92 hatch...

~got rear drums adjusted
~filled the rear end up the rest of the way
~installed new rear shocks
~got tank ready to take to shop to be ROTTED out
~took 4 lug stuff off and bought new 94/95 ball joints, new tie rod ends, endlink kit
~went to Summit Racing and ordered new stainless brake lines and got new wheel locks and lugnuts
~mounted two back rims/tires

Will pick up the ball joints and rest of the front suspension stuff minus brake lines tomorrow morning (get done in time to watch some football this w/e)

So far I'm (we...lol) are into this car for a tad over $1900 including $500 purchase and $200 for the shortblock....

put new steering rack/bushings on it yesterday, braided brake lines came in the other day and got them put on today, got fronts converted over to 5 lug. In the process of trying to get the tires/spindles somewhat aligned enough to get to the alignment shop (once motor etc. gets in) I managed to bugger the $h!T out of the DS tie rod end...the BRAND DAYAM NEW tie rod end....:nutkick:

Still need to get rebuild kit for trans (AOD) , cut out lower core support and weld in new one (once I get one), cut out/weld in new floor pan (once I get), clean out gas tank and get it mounted...

BUT that said, car looks 10000% better with the new (to us) rims on it!!! Pics to come here shortly (maybe tomorrow)

busy watching BAMA/LSU game now...

got the GT40 heads back from the shop, had them do a valve job, clean everything up, deck it, and put on some new Crane Beehives and they are good to go. Just need head gaskets, intake gaskets, clean up GT40 upper/lower (been soaking in the parts washer for about 2 weeks..lol)
