That was at Steele. I couldn't do anything to get traction. Came off the line from 2000, rode clutch, barely gave it gas, etc. nothing would work. As soon as I got into the gas the back-end would break loose. I even started in second a couple of times with the same thing. In fact, the 14.5@112mph was in second gear with nitrous off the line.

Re: New setup

I had a 150 shot on my sbe combo and it took 12 psi to equal the et i ran on the gas. Cant wait to see what your combo runs now that you have done the same.

Yeah. I know. I'll probably find some stock springs to put in the front for now.

Before it sees too much track time I'll upgrade to 31 spline axles and run slicks. I'm not trying that on a stock axle.

Re: New setup

Yeah since axle breakage seems to be cursing some members here, an upgrade would be a good idea

Paxton Air to Air intercooler
Vortech Mini Race Bypass valve (blue)
Ford green 42lb injectors
Ford 90MM MAF
MPH power pipe
MPH tuned SCT chip
SVT Focus 255lph fuel pump

Hopefully I'll have as much luck and fun with this as I did the nitrous kit. At least now I don't have to refill the bottle after ten minutes of fun at the track.
Nice setup guy! That intercooler should really help the power, we should be able to safely make it past the 400rwhp mark with it.

I think you should be able to break the 14's barrrier, maybe even a 13.50? But no faster, my car run a 13.47 and I can't have you any faster then me ....hahahahhaaa.....

Later Doug.
