auto to manual
when changing a 5.0 speed density car over from auto to manual.
do you need to swap computers, or will the auto computer work.

I'm not sure if there would be any adverse effects with speed density, but I know the mass-air computers are pretty much interchangable. The big difference being some of the ignition functions wih the AOD cars having slightly more aggressive timing.
I would bet that you would be fine using the auto ECU.

use the auto computer.it will work fine.
do you have a pedal assembly yet?if not ill swap you the 5 speed pedals from my car for your auto pedals

the computer came out of a lincoln mark vii i have. whats your name by the way
