Best to call and get a custom grind for what your looking for. I will have to check but I don't believe you can run that cam without ptv.

+1. I think there are only a handful of 2v cams that can be used if you are still running stock pistons.

i ran a set of comp cams xe274h on mine.. they are non-pi stage 3 cams.. they work really good on pi heads.. will keep about the same lift, but give you a lot more duration.. never had a problem with valve clearance, idle, cruizing, or tuning.. sounds good too.. i added 2 deg. timing with those cams and gained about 50 rwhp.. they also work well with a supercharger or nitrous and will see even more hp gains.. and also, you wouldn't have to change your springs with those cams either.. you can talk to a tech at comp cams and they will tell you the same thing i'm telling you.. go with xe274h, you will like the sound and performance..

yes, you can run comp stage 2 or 3.. as long as their the non-pi cams.. that will give you about the same lift as your stock pi cams, just a lot more duration.. you would not have to worry about clearance issues, or change springs since the lift wouldn't be any more that stock.. and yes, you have the right pistons, the pistons on these newer cars are already set up for it, as well as running a supercharger or nos.. these cams really come alive with a supercharger.. i run the stage 3 non-pi cam "XE274H" in my 02 gt and they work great. will work on stock tune, but really come alive with a tune, basically just add 2 deg. timing and set air/fuel mixture.. sound awesome too..
