Trans help!

Ok may need a little help here. I just bought and installed this from summit racing this morning http://m.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-70297
Drove the car to the highway temp got to 185. Drove down the highway trans temp got to 250 plus, and engine temp got to 205. It was 104 degrees outside but my engine has never gotten over 195. What else can I do to get the temps down. I also went back home and reinstalled a small fin tube type oil cooler in series with the plate type. My trans temp manifold is located between the trans and the cooler inlet on the trans out line.

has an electric fan that is wired to come on as soon as I turn the ignition switch, the b&m trans cooler has its own electric fan that turns on at 170 degrees.

I would have bought the cooler I posted in your build thread. Buddy bought the same cooler you have and his temps get around 230 with the fan on all the time
