am i correct to think that the exhaust housing and intake housing can be rotated 180deg. on an IHI turbo form a supercoupe

From a turbocoupe. I think so as long as it clears the oil and waste gate. Pop the top and see.

Good catch...Supercoupes had superchargers on them.

Just like what Kerry said, just check for interference.
