And I don't think they make a 10" with a 7.5" backspace...that would work too. Or narrow the axle housing and get shorter axles...
get the picture? The 8" wheel will hold enough tire to run 8's.

OK well I gotta decide now if I want the dragstars or the summit prostar look alikes! I like both. But the having to buy special lugnuts for the greg welds is really putting a cramp in the ol budget. Plus having to hunt up the 5 lug swap for the rear. I love the look of the prostar, but the greg welds are alot lighter from what I read on summit. Err this sux big time.

It's not the special lugnuts...it's the special washers. I reused the lugs from my prostars (shank-style McGard lugs) but had to buy some offset/eccentric washers since the hole is not concentric with the recessed area.

wow never seen an eccentric washer on a wheel! kinda like a fuel pump eccentric or camber bolt eccentric!
reckon the lug nuts are cheaper at a local chain store and if i can buy the washers seperate? |
