What do you recommend?

Sorry, but I'm completely lost now! What do you recommend for an 87 GT w/ a 90 5.0 motor (speed density). The mas conversion is pretty expensive, but what else is there?

You really can't do a whole lot until you convert to mass air. Like Spence said you can get the stuff priced reasonable if you just sit tight watch for the parts to come up. Crazyinblack can probably also pinpoint you to the directions on how to do it

after may 97 they went to the P's,and the intakes also changed as well. The later intakes have no EGR port in them, the early ones do. I have also heard that you can run your regular headers, but you have to use Chevy style 90 degree plug boots

I can copy the printout for you that I have on how to convert SD to MAF,you don't even need another harness, just the MAF meter, the electrical pigtail for it,and a MAF ECU!
