update: DIY convertible top install
not too bad for 250 dollar top with glass window and about 3-4 hrs of work. gotta let it set and get warm so i can stretch some small wrinkles.

not really that bad, worst part was the stapling, cant buy barbed staples like factory uses, only could find stainless non barbed. overall it was worth saving the $700 labor. everywhere i checked wanted 900 or more for regular top, and 200 more for cloth like Brian had. i got the same brand top they use with glass and defrost, new side cables and upper window seals like on 99 up mustangs for 289.00 shipped.
