I hear ya'! When I get home and get my new toy, I'm probably going to start taking my coupe apart (again), and re-painting it, along with some other changes.

A couple more things...
The same group of guys that went to Hux' place earlier in the year plus several more are going to cruise out to the Lineville show on the 7th. I figured it was about time to get a few more things finished up and change some stuff around.
The intake was getting some bubbling in the paint, so I took it along with the valve covers to Ryan in Pell City to get them powdercoated. He's going to do it the same gunmetal grey as some wheels he did for a friend. I felt I needed some "anti-bling" in the engine bay so I painted the intake tubing black and ordered black couplers to replace the original blue stuff. The most exciting part is I finally ordered some seats. I decided on some Corbeau LG1s since they're a little more aggressive than GTS II's and are said to be a favorite when it comes to comfort. I'm also planning on ordering the Corbeau rear seat upholstery as well as some black plug wires & grey cap/rotor set. I'll update once I get everything installed, but I did manage to get a few pics of the painted parts. incomplete engine bay Piping, fender bracket, & window switch mount |

looks pimp!! I'm going to get my valve covers done while I got the motor out too!! It makes you feel good getting those little things done, they add up to make a big impression!!

Weekend Update
Got the engine bay finished up yesterday.
Upgraded the air filter from the original K&N to a AEM Dryflow. K&N on left. AEM on right. Figured it couldn't hurt power. Hank & Ruby supervising the rear upholstery install. Rear seat w/ Corbeau material Corbeau LG1 Front seats installed |

Thanks guys. It's come a long way, but it's been fun. Still a few odds and ends I'd like to change, but it's real close to "finished".
