Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
having seen all types of exhaust.i will say that just yesaterday i had a customer with a supercharged 04 gt come in with a complete bassani exhaust on his car.his main complaint was that it was too loud and too raspy.so i changed the mufflers out for some 18" magnaflows and the car sounded great.at idle it is fairly quiet and at cruising speeds it is very quiet but when you mash the gas it gets loud.also the fit of the bassani cat back is horrible in my opinion...on more than one occasion i have had to cut up and repair a bassani cat back because it either hung too low or was hitting the underside of the car somewhere
just my opinion |

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
My car pops and crackles on decelleration, but it's not raspy at all. I have a ProChamber and Stingers.
The Stinger catback is the catback that uses Borla's XR-1 race mufflers.

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
I was searching around the Borla site and I saw the XR-1s, but they were just weld ins and not a full catback. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks to everyone for the help and input.

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
Mannaflow X-Pipe, and cat-back.
I had the ProChamber, and Flowpaths, and I like it, but the new set up sounds more refined.
