Absolutely, but at the time the car had dumps and nothing in it but seats and what little factory asphalt stuff was stuck to the driver and passenger footwell. I chipped out all the old factory stuff when I lined it with Peal N Seal so it would be in direct contact with the body. Now I have the mass-back jute carpet and it is even more quiet than after I put down the PNS.

There's a big thread on the corral where guys have done it and of course there are guys arguing against it. For me, it worked fine, I never smelled it, still don't even in summer when it sits in the parking lot all day, and it was cheap. I'd stay away from putting it on vertical surfaces or upside-down.

I think it weighs about 8lbs a roll and I used just about 3.5 rolls to do it from the base of the firewall to the rear tire wells in the trunk.

Finally got some gauges and a gauge plate. I've been working on getting them mounted and wired up.

Auto Meter Ultra Lite IIs in a gaugeplates.com plate with angled rings. Oil pressure, water temp, and nitrous pressure.



Wired them up as an assembly with weatherpack connectors for easy center console removal if necessary.




Now I just need to get all the wiring, etc. done on the car. I plan to move the factory coolant sender to the thermostat housing and put the auto meter sender in its place.

Can't beat the weatherpacks...it's a little extra money in the beginning, but well worth it the first time you need to take something out and not have to cut up a previous wiring job.

The angled gauge setup is going to require some fitting to the inside of the center console. Nothing a little dremel clearancing won't fix.

Ya, I've got the gaugeplate in my mont too...pretty nice piece! I had them move the radio to the top (I've got the AOD), move the heat/ac controls to the bottom, then put a "big" gauge hole in the middle and a smaller size gauge hole on either side...looks pretty cool I think....yup weatherpack FTW!
