1996 Mystic Cobra #425

Here is a break down of Graphs and steps that my cobra has been / put me through A complete list of Current modifications (Except removed nitrous) can be found on my website HERE

Right after I got the cobra, it developed a serious misfire or stumble which I could not figure out what was causing. Later it turned out to be the IMRC controller not functioning properly and causing the power band to be amazingly slow. This pull took 30 seconds to run due to the up and downs of the power band.

Once the IMRC was fixed, here is the car in stock trim. The numbers seemed slightly higher than I expected, but I believe it was due to just reseting the computer. This pull made 264rwhp/269rwtq.

This is the next NA pull which had added magnaflow mufflers, MAC o/r H-pipe, C&L trueflow inlet pipe, MSD ignition components and Custom SCT program from Doug904, which resulted in 279rwhp/272rwtq.

This is a pull from when I had a NOS wet kit installed on the car. We tried to spray it, but I was given wrong jet settings by Holley tech support which resulted in a serious rich condition. The numbers made from this were 354rwhp/428rwtq at a cloes to 10.0:1 a/f ratio. With the proper jets and no timing retard, the HP could have been close to 400rwhp/470rwtq maybe. Nitrous has been removed from the car since.
