check engine light
ok check engine light came on i know the reasons for 99% of the codes so what is the gapping for the spark plugs suppost to be for a 01 mustang gt........ also the only i didnt have in code book is a P1000 does anyone know what that code is? will misfires make valves rattle over time the sound is coming from around the #4 cylinder in the head VERY URGENT

Valve rattle???? I'd be pulling the plugs out ASAP sounds like its fixing to spit out a spark plug. Had a car do that to me last month couldn't figure out the noise until the plug hit the hood.

autolites and what kind of gas do you use? cause running crappy 87 in a mustang is a no no and even worse if you gas from like a jet pep or some other place that is watered down.

i run autolites in mine. and have had good luck with them so far.
