ok just installed the 78mm tb/plenum and i crank it up and the rpms shoot right up to 3,000 then like 2 seconds later drop down to 1500 and stay, like that is its new idle and now has a sucking sound......that would be my intake leak i cant feel where its coming from but would the leak cause the high idle?

yes. Vacuum leaks will cause high idle

bahhhh......i knew i shouldnt of done the install sounds like its coming from the back side of the plenum. sadly i have run outta daylight and dont have a shop
