Need Amp Reccommendation

Ok i have been wanting a set of nice subs to put in a rear seat delete box for the car....... well i ordered them monday,

I got a set of MB-Quart subs, at a good deal. they are dual voice coil 4 ohm speakers and i have two, so if i figure this up right i can run them in series on a mono amp at one ohm and be good right?

I was looking at a memphis audio amp, it is rated at 1100w(rms)x1@1ohm, this seems like plenty of power since each speaker is 400w rms as that will be leaving 300 w on the table.......just turn the amp down....

Is there a better amp for the applicattion.... i also seen an audiobohn amp that was 1200x1 that was only like 325$.....it was new....

any imput?

thanks

Doesn't sound like a bad amp but I sell a Diamond Audio D3600.1 that is great for what you are doing. 1 ohm stable, rated at 600 watts, does about 900 watts, and starting in 05 all Diamond amps have a lifetime warranty if installed by the authorized dealer and it stays in that car. I sell it installed for $399. Streetstangs/Bamamafia price is around $330-$350 installed. Parts are extra. Let me know what you think: WWW.DIAMONDAUDIO.COM

Check out www.onlinecarstereo.com They have some good stuff. I've been dealing with them for a few years now.

I am BIG into car audio.. Back in '95 I spent over $10,000 in audio stuff. (retail) Never again..

I use Alpine, Fosgate, MB Quart, Kicker, Some Polk & Infinity stuff.
