1995 mustang gt 347 stroker 200 shot of nos

Well we took my buddies 95 GT to the dyno today to see what it could do. We built his motor a few months ago its a 347 stock block with head studs, main studs, and a bottom end girdle, forged h beams, forged crank and forged pistons with 10.5-1 compression all balanced, it has a trick flow stage 3 cam, afr 185 cylinder heads, trick flow r intake, and trick flow wet shot plate kit.

Is that a 95 model block? Nice numbers tho! I'm hoping to get some extra power in my car by next year.

How long do you think the block will hold up at that power level with a 347 kit also?

I've seen stock blocks crack at 400hp and I've seen stock blocks hold over 600rwhp and live for a couple of years. There is really no way to answer this for you. But a lot of people say the limit of the stock block is 500hp after that it will crack I think its crap it depends on the build what kind of parts you use to build motor, and how well the whole assembly is balanced. But personaly I think it will live for a while. Oh and I forgot to mention this is with no custom chip just adjusted the timing and fuel pressure and pulled it.

Yea well it drives good idle's great and still gets pretty decent gas mileage so he is very happy. After the couple of street test we stopped at a gas station when I rolled up beside him he had sweat rolling off of his fore head and a smile from ear to ear. It is his first nitrous car, I had to edit about 5 minutes of video out of me driving my car and recording with one hand, and talking to him on the phone with the other trying to work up his nerves to hit the damn button.

keep the timing down, and some good gas in it.......... I'd be afraid of this though... good numbers though.
