Yes, there are 2 Stand Alone trigger points (Throttle Position and RPM) for both fuel and timing.

And I especially like the fact that you can tune to 9,900 rpm.

Yes the stand alone is the best feature on the pms in my opinion.

Lee,

Just go ahead and fork over the extra cash
for an AEM EMS and be done with it. The AEM
is not going to cost much more at all than the
late model PMS & datalogging option....

Depending on who you buy it from you will get
a base tune with the AEM to start from.
If you need a recommendation for the AEM let me know.

Unless of course you are just looking for something
that all you do not need a laptop to tune with....

My combo is pretty much based off a conversation I had with Rick a few months back. Might as well try his PMS for a year or two and learn it.

Its gonna be pretty neat leaving the line on a two step that the PMS has built in

hey lee did you buy the aem or the pms and what do you think about it ? the chip I had in my coupe burned slap up when my eec went out and I am looking for a new way to tune my car.

The PMS is useless for anything other than WOT.

If you want to learn to tune, get a Tweecer R/T. Best tuning tool for a foxbody
