The ride will be much better with aftermarket shocks and struts.

i just dont understand why my rear end still sets at nearly stock level. there is a local 98 cobra thats not lowered and his is lower than mine for some reason. should i have taken the quad shocks off the rear?

The Pro-Kit I had on my '98 GT definitely sat lower in the rear than stock. Did you buy the springs new or used? Are you sure they sent you the right springs? It's my understanding that you shouldn't remove the quad shocks until you've upgraded your control arms, but I don't believe that will make a difference in ride height.

I installed H&R Sport Springs, MM cc plates, and Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks and struts about 2 weeks ago onto our 2004 Mach 1 Mustang . . . I love the way it rides and handles.

ok found out why my front was sitting so low and the rear still sitting high with the "raked" look.
TireRack.com sent me the springs for a v6 instead of a v8. I got to checking the part numbers and they werent the right numbers. Then I had a big run around with them over the phone. But I got the right ones put on now and it looks and rides a ton better than before. Now gotta put my CC plates on and align the front end.
