Caster Camber Plates

Please give your experiences with various CC plates.
I am looking into a set of Maximum Motorsports CC plates; as they were recommended to me by a 5.0 Mustangs magazine staff member using them. Also looking at the Steeda because I might get a discount on them. Any input is appreciated.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

I loved my Maximum Motorsports CC plates I had on my coupe. They performed well as far as adjustability and on top of that, they look pretty good too! Although Paul said his set on the Evolution bent. Not sure why that happened, but I didn't have a problem with them.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

On my '85 I have a real old set, I think that they are MM, but not sure. They are so old, that the caster is not even adjustable, they were set, I think at 3.0 degrees (not positive).

From what I have heard, MM, Griggs, and Steeda's are all really good. I am not sure if EVM (?) is making them or not, but may want to check, their products seem really good also. The Ford cc plates also have always looked to be a good piece, check www.buyfordracing.com

Re: Caster Camber Plates

Thanks fellas. I'm leaning toward the Steeda pieces now. They're priced a little better. Look very nice.

I tried to link in the Steeda pieces, but couldn't.

The Ford pieces look real similiar as far as features go (when compared to the steel Steeda's) and through the link above are about $30 cheaper.

Regardless, they all look pretty good.

Check out this web-site Matt, They have the Ford cc plates for $143.00!
I think that is a really good price for a pretty good piece.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

A guy we know @ Steeda gave me the hookup. Ordered yesterday. I'll give a review and adjustment details.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

Well to late now, but I have steeda on my car. Not sure if they have changed since I have got mine but mine has the three bolts. They hold up good but i'm not impressed as far as adjustability goes.

Re: Caster Camber Plates

I believe Steeda also makes a 4 bolt model now.
