aem with 5.0 harness and bb

Looking hard at the aem.Will it work on my 429 with 5.0 harness etc.what are your thought pos or negatives?

PS. Will be using the new tfs mafia intake.prob gona end up with some real big injectors like 95s on the mild side or bigger if i get a wild hair lol

Yes the AEM will run the 429 big block. And if you order it from Bob Kurgan he can provide you with a base tune and support.

His new shop is in GA now I think....

I would call Bob anyway to see about using a crank trigger setup with the AEM race box since AEM does not make an EPM for a 429 ford engine. I am sure the EPM could be modified to work but it may be just as easy to get the race box and use a crank trigger with a set of late model GM truck coils....

There you are.Have not seen you on here for bit.Ok thx for the heads up.I really want to get this correct the first time.I have seen a few half hearted attemps at bb efi get abandoned.I want to get this efi working smooth before I even attempt boost.
I will probably drive you all crazy with some ignorant questions.I sure appreciate the help.I f I get to crazy off base I hope you all will set me straight.thx bunches for the help.Clyde

And yes... Bob Kurgan is now in Georgia...his shop is real close to Road Atlanta.

Yeah I haven't been online much since I changed jobs.....working to many hours....

Oh and just an FYI I had forgot that Thomas T. had modified a distributor to work with the AEM EPM and big block Ford. He had to do quite a bit of machining lathe/mill work to get it setup but turned out rather nice..
