Are the Headlight really different?

Are the headlights on 94-98 GT really different from the cobra? I have a supplier I can get headlights from for cheap, but they claim they do not have them for the cobra. What is the difference? You even see it in the restro books, they want to charge more for the cobra lights.

The 94-98 Cobra headlights are made of a diamond clear type lense and the regular gt/v6 car lights are the clouded looking lenses

On the 98?

If so just go to wal-mart and buy the 3m headlight renewing kit and go home and refinish your headlights...Takes about an hour to do both depending on how bad they are.

Has anyone used the 3M cleaner kit? How long does it last afterwards?

The lights are hazed pretty badly. The previous owner stored the car outside since 2003.

I used it personally on the gt convertible I got for my wife. The headlights were horrible and now they look like new.

They have been done since the 1st of december and still look new so far and it is stored outside too
