Queastion about heads?

Is it hard to put pi heads on a non pi head motor i have heard diffrent things

The intakes don't match up, so it's "best" to swap intakes at the same time. I think there are some adapters out there, though. It'll also raise the compression ratio, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

IIRC, the cost of those adapters werent exactly cheap. You could probably buy the PI intake for the cost of them. As far as " special" tools, no. But air tools would be a great help.

thanks someone was just telling me i had to go have timing chains put on a special way and i had to have some kind of special tools

Oh yeah, if your timing gears are pressed on you may need a pulley puller. But if they are bolted, then you would not require any special tool, that i am aware of.
