Cool Inserting Probe

Now that everyone is looking

I bought a controller for my fan and it has a probe that goes though the radiator. do I need to avoid the water passages in the radiator or put it in a particular area?

also do I need anything else to install this? I seem to remember reading about installing one and they installed a relay or something else

thanks guys

* I thought I would go ahead and post here so no one had to move the thread

the controller that Brian, I, and a few others on here use or have used (I went back to a manual fan) mounts near the lower radiator hose

I used one just like it and I had no problems. Put it near the lower hose like Lee stated.

I thought it was supposed to go through the actual radiator not a hose
