Did it still have torque on that main???

Yep but after I saw the crack it was useless to check to see what the actual torque was......

you gonna do a tubular front end setup like: k member, a arms and coil overs

Probably so later on. Now that it is just going to be my play toy instead of being restored back to factory stock condition.

I have some nice 351w parts that I had originally planned on putting in it but have since changed my mind and will stay with the 8.2 deck block setup.

Ordered a few more new parts from Summit last night.
A few of the items were things like arp head bolts, felpro gaskets etc.

Dropped AFR heads off at machine shop yesterday afternoon so that Scott could give them the once over...

Hope to have all the parts in by Friday along with the block, heads, cam & pistons. That way I can get it back together this weekend and finally get the green slip inspection done next week. Then I can get some more things accomplished on the car....

Probably the same reason why every 302 leaks at the back of the motor.
