This is what happens after 12yrs of launching on Slicks

well i went to the track 2 friday nites ago, and cut a 1.42 60ft, and then I heard something, pop!! I guess after being raced on slicks for so long the body can only take so much!! I had an aftermarket S box fabricated up. Looks just like a wild rides S box, but its made out of stronger metal. I will put it in the car friday morning. I'll get pics of the S box tomorrow. It took me 6hrs to get the rearend out, backseat, and the S box out. Here are pics of the damage!! I hope I posted these pics right, maybe Lee or Brian can help me out..lol.

no just the passengers side upper control arm bracket broke loose from the body. The only way to repair was to pull the factory S box out and put the new piece in. Or I could backhalf it, but I dont wanna do that... I already got one car that is backhalved..lol ala SuperStocker

I got the new S box in the car and bolted up... I'll do some welding today, and hopefully get the backseat, rear end and every other little thing together this evening and the wheels will be turning tomorrow. I'll get pics of the assembly
