Getting SilverBack on the road again...
I was gonna update my thread on the wreckage, but didn't like the title anymore....
So....I did manage to get the glass replaced for a good price and it sat a few months with no progress. Well I finally got around to putting the MM C/C plates on it and a Steeda bumpsteer kit and did a quick string and level alignment. One of my brothers bought a fender for a belated birthday present and the other one just brought it up this past weekend. Free Taiwanese fender & Kaenen hood. Took a little bit of work to get the gaps close, but I believe it will work just fine with more adjustment. Nothing is fully tightened in the pictures and the hood is just sitting there. I believe I'll do some work on the hood to get the lines to match up in the front, but I think that will be all that's needed. Hopefully not too much longer and I can re-focus my attention to the interior. |

Hey, I am almost 5'10"... just puts me closer to the gas pedal!
All joking aside, it is possible that I'll be back on the road w/ fresh paint in the next few weeks. I don't think the Ram HD clutch is gonna be up to the task though....probably slap Steve's old 10 spline SPEC stg2 disc in it and say a prayer. |
