I'd go with about a 3200-3400 stall at least. I'm running a 2400, and it's not enough for mine, and it's a relatively mild combo.

I had an 88 coupe with a 306, Edelbrock Performer heads and Intake, F303 cam, 24# injectors, 76 C&L, 3.27 gears and it ran 7.70's all motor on 8.5 Et Drags. Went 6.80's with a 175 shot. Car still got 23 mpg. lol I have always been fond of the F303. Never raced it at the track but I have a F303 in my wifes 95 GT as well.

I have a DSS 308 I'm fixing to put in my 92 coupe and it has a X303 and I plan to pull the X303 out and put a F303 in. Good luck with what you choose. Don't really think you can go wrong with a F303, Anderson, Trick Flow or something custom.

I agree with this. Missed the second page. LMAO! O well. Yea I would run a 3200+ convertor.

Also my 88 coupe was a 5 speed and I launched it at 5500-6000. It cut 1.60 sixtys N/A. LoL

The E cam is a decent nitrous cam, as is the F cam if you're wanting to go with a letter cam. Anderson Ford Motorsports is the way to go on a new cam though.

Shop around on the classifieds on here and the corral instead of buying a new one. You can find good used letter cams all day for somewhere in the $100 range. Joecoupe found a B cam over on streetcarforums for me when I was looking for one. It had les than 1k milkes on it and cost me a whopping $75 shipped.
