TV cable adjustment....

1. Make sure throttle plate will reach full open at WOT(if not adjust stop to reach WOT).
2. Take and adjust cable to where it is fully shortened(shorten travel between throttle linkage and adjuster). 3. Go to WOT which will pull cable and adjuster to propper position. I have seen a few instances where the TV cable needed to be adjusted slightly for correct shift points, This is not a common problem but it does happen. If dealing with a 700R4 or a 4L60 the TV valve can sometimes stick which is more common than not especially after a rebuild or repair where the valve body has been removed. I preach the replacement of the oem boost valve and modifications for full a time lube circuit on all applicable OD auto transmissions.

Thanks Lee, this is similar to the link for the procedure I had found. This is on a BUILT AOD, A+ servo, extra clutches etc.....
