Bugs on front bumper
I guess I need to find a good bug and tar remover. Anyone got any suggestions for something that won't eat the paint off? The front bumper always looks like crap compared to the rest of the car.

Re: Bugs on front bumper
Paint over it then you will have rock guard
We had this stuff at work we bought at a car show that worked great. It was pink but not sure where else you could buy it.

Ive used the Turtle Wax spray on bug remover before. It does OK, but nothing super special. Once bugs have been on there long enough, they get baked into your paint and you will have to use an abrasive polish to get them out. You can try a claybar if it hasn't been on there too long.

I use one of the sponges that have the mesh wrapped around them. The mesh is aggressive enough to grabs the bugs but made of a soft enough material not to harm the paint. Works better than a bug and tar remover, IMO.
