I know where 3 of them are sitting with bad motor or wiring. Was a crappy auto but the body had some really good looks to it.
Not the pride of the family.

Great looking car. How long did it take to build the car?

From purchase of the running V6 car to now... I think it was about 3 years. But it sat in various states here and there waiting on engine, ECU, alot of custom stuff.
I probably wouldn't mind the wide fenders if it were a 2 door... but it just doesn't work on a 4 door. |

And is it steel or fiberglass?

My buddy Jonathan Goolsby of Goolsby customs did the body work. I saw it last year when he repainted my 03.

They're carbon fiber. You can just make out the weave when you look at the paint (which is pretty much flawless since Goolsby did it). With temperature changes, the carbon fiber can be very apparent, or barely noticable. It's really interesting. Back bumper, hood, fender flares are all CF. Here's a couple pics from a SPEC meet this weekend: (edit: Yes, that's me questioning the stability of a plastic broom handle hood-prop. Guess the hood struts aren't compatible with the CF hood. LOL.) Last edited by coupe; 03-29-2010 at 12:17 PM. |
