t5 id help
Received a v8 t5 on trade with id tag 13-52-034 After searching I came up with 83 mustang svo 5.0 v8.
To the best of my knowledge there was not an svo 5.0 v8 made in 83. Some search has shown it as an aftermarket ford motorsport trans rated at 305 tq. Can any of you gurus help comfirm this and help me fig out the gear ratios thx very much for any help.Clyde

Exact tag is
E3ZR-7003-CA. B2132 13-52-034. 15940 Corrected the build date march 21,1983 2nd shift

275 lb/ft torque 1st 2.95 2nd 1.94 3rd 1.34 4th 1.0 5th 0.75 http://www.fiveohinfo.com/fox/transmission.html I've used this chart a couple times and hasn't steered me wrong yet.

I think that is accurate because a fms aftermarket unit would not have the partial vin stamped at front right edge of case and this one does. DF 166106.

Correct. A FMS unit would also have the part number start with M-xxxx-xxx to designate it as an aftermarket unit.

Is it possible that the SVO's and the 5.0's came with the same trans? I bet they did

Definetely 2.95 1st gear
NWC. Not in to bad of shape considering its age. I am sure i will find a use for it eventually.lol
